At Garden City Youth, we’re building a fun, welcoming community where young people can grow together as they learn what it means to follow Jesus, and do the things Jesus did.

What happens Youth registration

Sundays

Growing as part of the whole church family.

First & third Sundays

On the first and third Sunday of every month, our youth worship alongside the whole church family before gathering together in their own space during the sermon.

Second Sundays

On the second Sundays, youth are encouraged to serve on one of our Sunday teams and engage fully with the main gathering, helping them connect and contribute as part of the wider church community.

Fourth Sundays

On the fourth Sunday of the month, we are altogether as a whole church family for our Table Sunday.

Youth City Group

Tuesdays from 7pm.

Youth Social Nights

Time to connect and have fun.

Youth Social Nights are our big end-of-term events designed simply for young people to connect, have fun, and enjoy time together. One term we might head out for an exciting activity, and the next we might host a relaxed hangout in our own space.

These nights take place during the final week of each school term and are open to all young people. They provide a welcoming, high-energy environment where our youth can unwind.

Dreaming the Impossible

DTI

We also go to Dreaming the Impossible (DTI) every summer — a national youth festival run by the Vineyard movement.

If you’re in years 7–13 and would like to come along, know that you’re invited.

What to expect

We want Garden City Youth to be a safe and fun environment for everyone involved.

Check-in

Youth can use the automated check-in system to check themselves in to Youth on Sundays. This helps us keep a register and emergency contact details for all young people attending. Check-in opens 20 minutes before the start of each gathering.

Additional needs

Whether you’re part of Garden City Youth or just visiting, if you or your young person has additional needs, we’d love to support you. Please get in touch with our youth leaders so we can work together to make sure every young person feels safe, included, and at home.

Safeguarding

At Garden City Youth, the safety and wellbeing of every young person is a top priority. All of our team members are DBS-checked before serving, and we follow clear safeguarding policies and procedures. In the unlikely event of an emergency, we have robust plans in place to keep everyone safe.

Getting involved

Invest in the next generation.

We’re always looking for dedicated and caring people to invest in the next generation by joining the Garden City Youth team. All volunteers are required to complete a full DBS check and provide references as part of our safeguarding process.
